Simple, transparent pricing for consultations, assessment and practical occupational therapy support. Any optional assessment stage, travel or additional professional work is discussed and agreed in advance.

These are the main individual service fees at Belong OT.
Initial Consultation
€120
The Initial Consultation is the first part of the assessment process and can also be useful on its own. You receive a brief written Summary and Plan.

Goal-Focused OT Support
€120
Practical occupational therapy support around agreed everyday goals.
What is included?
The session may include direct support, review, coaching, practical strategies and brief resources or recommendations where appropriate.
Everyday Life & Participation Assessment
€400
If more detailed assessment is useful after the Initial Consultation, this stage provides a fuller occupational therapy assessment, a written OT report and practical recommendations.
Optional further assessment: an additional €400 only where more detailed, focused or standardised assessment would add useful information and is agreed with you.
How does further assessment work?
The Initial Consultation helps clarify the assessment question and what level of assessment would be useful.
An additional assessment stage may include focused observation, direct assessment or standardised assessment. It is not automatic and is booked separately only after discussion and agreement.

Travel and appointments in home, school or community settings
Some appointments may take place at a home, school or another agreed setting where this is useful and appropriate.
A travel fee may apply. This reflects the location, travel time and distance from Belong OT’s clinic in Ardnacrusha. Your travel fee will always be confirmed before the appointment is booked.
Parking, tolls or other agreed travel costs are added where applicable.
Where several clients are seen during the same visit to a school or setting, travel costs are shared where appropriate rather than charging the same journey in full to each client.
For schools and education settings, travel forms part of the agreed quotation.
Additional professional work
Routine preparation, documentation and brief communication linked to a booked service are included in the service fee.
Where substantial additional professional work is requested outside the agreed service, this is charged at €120 per hour in 15-minute units of €30.
This may include planned professional consultations or case conferences, substantial record review, additional letters or forms, report amendments outside the agreed scope, or detailed equipment and accommodation research.
Any additional work is discussed and agreed with you before it begins.
Schools, early years and education settings
Education-setting work is enquiry-led and quotation-based where the work falls outside an individual client appointment.
The scope, travel, preparation, delivery time, reporting and any applicable VAT are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Booking and payment
Initial Consultations and follow-up sessions are paid when booked. Assessment stages are agreed and paid for separately.
Schools and education settings begin with an enquiry.

Receipts, health insurance and tax information
Belong OT provides receipts for paid occupational therapy services.
Some private health-insurance plans provide a contribution towards occupational therapy. Cover depends on the individual policy, so please check directly with your insurer.
