Making information easier to use
Belong OT aims to make information easy to read, easy to understand and easy to use. This includes website pages, downloadable documents, videos, digital resources and online forms where possible.
The website is being developed with practical language, clear sections, readable text and mobile-friendly layouts.

What we are working towards
Belong OT aims to make the website accessible to as many people as possible, including people who:
- use screen readers or assistive technology
- navigate using a keyboard
- have visual, sensory, cognitive or motor differences
- prefer plain English information
- need information in a clear and structured format
Downloadable documents
Some Belong OT policies, forms or resources may be provided as PDF documents or downloads.
We aim to make documents as accessible as possible by using clear headings, simple layouts, readable text, good spacing, meaningful file names and no unnecessary decoration.
If you have difficulty accessing a document, please contact Belong OT. We will try to provide the information in another format.
Videos and digital resources
Belong OT may provide videos, guides, handouts or downloadable resources.
Where possible, these resources will be clear, practical and easy to follow. Over time, Belong OT will aim to include supports such as captions, transcripts or written summaries where appropriate.
Third-party platforms
Belong OT may use third-party platforms, such as WriteUpp, for booking, forms and client records; online consultations use an agreed video platform.
These platforms have their own accessibility features and limitations. If you experience difficulty using a booking form, telehealth link or online form, please contact Belong OT. We will try to support access in another way.
Getting support
You are welcome to contact Belong OT if:
- you cannot access a page or document
- a form is difficult to complete
- a PDF is not readable
- you need information in a different format
- something on the website does not work with assistive technology
